(VOV) – The annual – Hanoi Sound Stuff – music festival will kick off on April 9 in three venues in the city with a star-studded line-up of internationally talented musicians taking to the stage.
The concert will feature Chi Thanh from Berlin performing his latest smash hit, which has been nominated for a Latin Grammy Award as Best Rock Song of the year in addition to Chi Thien also from Germany performing his latest hits.
Van-Anh Vanessa Vo from the US will also take centre stage at the event with her distinctive musical blend that can only come from her mastery of the unique Vietnamese 16 chord dan tranh zither.
In addition, the concert will feature live performances by bands from the US, France, Germany, Israel, Denmark and Vietnam, many of whom have been awarded top prizes at international competitions.
The festival will be staged at three locations in Hanoi: Manzi Art Space, No.14 Phan Huy Ich Street; Hanoi Creative City No.1 Luong Yen Street; and the Vietnam Cultural and Arts Exhibition Centre, No. 2 Hoa Lu Street.
The annual event is being co-organised by the Vietnam National Academy of Music and the Goethe Institute in Hanoi.
