The Hai Duong Provincial Military Command’s Party Committee held a commemorative meeting on March 4 afternoon on the occasion of the 105th International Women’s Day.
Women in the provincial armed forces in 2014 proactively organized learning and thorough grasp of resolutions of the Party and women’s congresses at all levels, propagandized Directive No. 49 of the Central Party Committee’s Secretariat on “Developing Vietnamese families in the era of national industrialization and modernization”, mobilized all officers and soldiers to respond to the contest of composing literary and artistic pieces about Hai Duong women, etc.
In 2015, women in the provincial armed forces will further promote the emulation movement “Women actively learn and creatively work to fulfill tasks and develop happy families” in association with their units’ emulation movement of determining to win and local activities, and strive to be worthy of military women’s traditions of “Self-confidence, self-respect, generosity, and resourcefulness”.

Over the past five years, the Hai Duong City Women’s Association has frequently renewed contents and launched many appropriate and practical patriotic movements closely connected to the association’s political tasks and local socio-economic development objectives.
All members have learnt and registered to realize the patriotic movement “Women actively learn and creatively work to fulfill tasks and develop happy families”, and more than 90% of female workers and civil servants have obtained the title “proficiency in State work and housework”.
More than VND4 billion saved from the movement of plastic pig feeding has been lent to 447 disadvantaged households.
Levels of the city association have visited and presented 1,138 turns of poor and single women with gifts worth over VND300 million, awarded 98 scholarships to poor pupils overcoming difficulties, etc.
