PANO – The Australian Ambassador to Vietnam Hugh Borrowman on February 27th announced an aid package, worth US$ 180,000, for 13 community development projects in Northern Vietnam.
The fund comes from the Direct Aid Programme of the Australian Government for healthcare, education, environmental protection, agricultural development, and job support.
The Ambassador said that this year, the program will assist Vietnam in upgrading a health clinic in Thanh Hoa province, building a new classroom in Thai Binh province, and providing a training course on the environmental protection and waste treatment in Ninh Binh province.
