PANO – More than 300 units of blood were donated by over 600 cadres, lecturers and youths of the Military University of Culture and Arts during a blood donation program, jointly organized by the university and Military Central Hospital 108 on April 11th.
Addressing the ceremony, Senior Colonel Phan Van Long, the university’s Deputy Commissar affirmed the significance of the activity that would contribute to encouraging and bringing hope to patients.
With the message, “Each drop of blood to save one live”, the program was part of the unit’s blood donation week from April 7th to 14th.
The collected blood will be used to treat wounded and sick soldiers and officers under treatment in the hospital.
