More units commence training

PANO – 2015 training courses and emulation campaigns towards the 40th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification (April 30th) were kick-started in many army units on March 1st and 2nd.

Military Zone 1 is committed to ensuring the training courses for its officers a success and all the non-commissioned officers, technicians and defence personnel should thoroughly grasp their responsibilities, missions and seriously observe regulations including troops management and line-up.

Meanwhile, Military Zone 4 presented merit flags and certificates to units with good training and comprehensively strong units in 2014. This year, the zone continues its training under the motto “Fundamental-Practical-Firm” and attaches much importance to comprehensive and intensive training and combines military training with political education.

For its part, Division 968 of Military Zone 4 affirmed that all training contents for officers and troops should meet the set requirements and that more than 85 per cent of the trainees pass the courses with flying colours.

Meanwhile, Quang Tri provincial Military Command launched the emulation campaign themed “Quang Tri provincial armed forces to be united, creative and good at training, prepared for combat readiness and to strictly observe military discipline”.

Having launched training drive, Military School of Zone 4 inaugurated the Defence-Security Education Centre, marked initiatives and teaching aids and started a sports festival.

This year, Commando Arm’s affiliated units are determined to surmount all difficulties to improve training quality for involved forces, especially rangers and anti-terrorism force and do their utmost to achieve good results from early start.

Brigade 134 of Signal Arm targets to ensure smooth communications in any circumstances and promptly respond to natural disasters and other incidents.

Similar activities were also seen the same day at the Border Guard Academy, Hung Yen Provincial Military Command, and the Political University.
