Among them, 95.2 per cent are from ethnic minority groups of Tay, Nung, Dao, and H’Mong. One enlistee is a party member while 99.6 per cent of enlistees are youth union members.

Notably, 20 youths wrote petitions to join the army and 145 excellent youth union members had basic knowledge of the Party.

Before the handover ceremony, the localities held many meaningful activities as artistic exchanges, and visit to fallen soldiers’ cemeteries to encourage the enlistees to serve the military term.
